Alterations are provided on-site as a service and are by appointment only. We do alterations on wedding dresses, special occasion, bridesmaids & flowergirl dresses. Our professional seamstresses have over 25 years of experience in bridal alterations & customizations and will make you look and feel great on your big day! Appointments are first-come first-served basis and book months in advance.

Appointments
Appointments are first come first serve and we strongly recommend scheduling your 1st fitting as soon as you can. We do not alter dresses that are not bought at Here Comes the Bride. Our appointments can book up to months in advance, so it's important to secure your fitting date in advance to guarantee availability. Alterations are available Saturday & Sunday by appointment only (no walk-ins). Alterations are always an additional fee and are not included with the price of your dress.
Scheduling
Your first fitting should be between 5-10 weeks before the event date. Your pick-up appointment is scheduled according to your event date, usually 2-3 weeks before.’

Pricing
Pricing varies depending on what specifically needs to be done to your dress and the style of dress. Alterations pricing starts at $550 and is non-negotiable.
Any custom requests such as dress reconstruction, changing necklines, or building sleeves, will incur additional fees, and typically start at $650+. Alterations fees are not discountable or negotiable. Full payment will be due upon pickup.
Consultation
$50 (Bridal Only)
If you would like a quote for alterations on your wedding gown please set up a consultation appointment. Bring in your wedding dress we'll do a fitting and consultation. The seamstress will precisely detail and pin what will be necessary to make your wedding dress fit perfectly and answer any questions you may have. You will also receive your pricing information. For consultations, we recommend that you bring the undergarments and shoes you intend to wear with the your dress to ensure consistency in fit. The consultation fee of $50 will be credited to your alterations fee if you decide to use our services.
1st Fitting
For your 1st fitting, you will consult one on one with the seamstress to discuss your vision of the dress. This appointment is usually about 15-20 minutes. The seamstress will then pin the dress where it needs to be altered as she sees fit. Typically only one or two fittings are required. In the case that we need to separate the process, we will schedule a 2nd fitting accordingly. You must have the correct shoes, undergarments, & materials (i.e. lace, buttons) at this time.
Final Fitting (Pick-Up)
Final pickup fittings are scheduled 2 to 3 weeks before the wedding date. Your dress will be completely finished at your final pickup fitting. This appointment is usually about 15-20 minutes. You will try on your dress one last time with us to ensure it is fitting you correctly. If any small adjustments need to be made, we can typically finish those at this appointment.. If there is any adjustment needed that requires more work, we can schedule another fitting at your convenience. We will also instruct you how to properly get you day-of-ready and bustle up your dress, so please try and bring a friend or family member who will be there the day of your wedding. Full payment is due at this time. Alterations vary on the dress style and the work being done. The fee is non-negotiable or non-discountable.
